The roots of BODYSOUL work grow out of a deep respect for DREAMS, C.G. Jung's understanding of the psyche, and the great WISDOM of the body and MARION WOODMAN'S passionate commitment to articulating the sacred feminine and the EMBODIED SOUL.

Participants will be introduced to the core concepts of BodySoul work, read excerpts from Jungian-oriented readings, and experience direct inquiry into bodysoul practices through dreams, movement, active imagination, art, writing and voice.

Out of the STILLNESS of winter, spring bulbs begin pushing through the earth. Gradually the whole world begins to vibrate in shades of green, and our hearts swell with the MYSTERY of creation.

Like spring bulbs, our DREAMS bring forth new energy.

A Marion Woodman Foundation Affiliated Program

Dream Images from the DEPTHS of the PSYCHE carry unlived aspects of ourselves that have been hidden or rejected. We will explore the personal and ARCHETYPAL aspects of these IMAGES through movement, drawing, collage, discussion, imagination and voice so that we may EMBODY and live the widsom of the dream.

In a safe and sacred group we will support and WITNESS the inner work of each participant.

The BodySoul work of Jungian Analyst Marion Woodman will be discussed and a DVD interview with Marion will guide us in our understanding.
